Bay Area Speech and Language Services started in a small one room office 12 years ago, then as now we have always believed in using the latest technology as well as time tested equipment to achieve the most rapid improvement possible in our patients. Bay Area Speech has grown substantially over the years, the equipment has definitely changed but our focus has not. Our equipment ranges from the simplest of devices to the fastest personal computers available. Our therapists our encouraged to always look for new technology that may help speed up a child's improvement. We also believe it is very important to create a safe and comfortable environment. Because we are primarily a pediatric facility, we have designed the floor plan with some very important considerations in mind, foremost to make all children feel calm and at ease. Learning can be fun!
At Bay Area Speech we also believe in making things as easy as possible for the parent/caregivers. With that in mind we have recently expanded the waiting area. We have added the latest in DVD video equipment to help keep the grownups and the kids entertained, we also have computers available for the siblings to enjoy challenging and educational games.
